SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.Preparing and tracking budget submissions and monthly financials for an installation. 2. Supervising personnel in the coordination of an installation’s fitness and/or recreation program including making schedule and compliance with staff-to -child ratio. 3. Planning and executing a comprehensive fitness, aquatics, and/or sports program that includes a variety of fitness and aquatics activities for individual and team sports. 4. Developing or delivering presentations for promoting health/wellness activities. 5. Understanding of a wide range of principles, concepts, and techniques that govern physical fitness programs for adults and youth. 6. Managing and controlling the Marketing Office and Staff that focus on publicity for the department. 7.
