FLIGHT ENGINEER (INSTRUCTOR) – TITLE 32

Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state’s National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership in the military grade/rank listed in the announcement. Military Grades: E5 to E9 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position. Compatible Military Assignments: 15TF, 68WF GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of aircraft weight and balance computations; aircraft performance data; aircraft records maintenance; and aircraft systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have the relevant specialized experience to assist the pilot in operating various aircraft systems, e.g., hydraulic, fuel, electrical or pressurization to assure safe operation of aircraft. Experience for the current airframe; have the required certifications as specified by the appropriate Army Regulation.
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Flight Engineer (Instructor), Position Description Number D0606000 and is part of the AASF #2, Georgia Army National Guard located in Marietta, Georgia.
