The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE Fabricating and installing rigid and spring loaded pipe hangers, modifies, repairs and installs piping in all types of fluid systems. I am consulted by other employees in difficult situations regarding the planning, laying out, troubleshooting, modifying and testing of high temperature and high-pressure piping systems. Read, interprets blueprints, specifications and sketches. Knowledge of various pipe composition, such as seamless steel tubing. seamless brass, copper nickel, etc. Installing pipes, fittings and fixtures to construct and maintain piping systems within ships or industrial facilities. Test piping systems to locate leaks or obstructions to repair them. You will serve as a PIPEFITTER in the PIPE SHOP 960, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPT MGR 901, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT 900 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
