SUPERVISORY MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in mechanical engineering as it pertains to nuclear-powered submarines and aircraft carriers or similar marine vessels. Experience in temporary service systems, and programs such as Level I, and Steam Plan Cleanliness. Experience in design and technical knowledge of engineering aspects as it relates to Nuclear Propulsion Plant Maintenance and Construction. Experience with broad knowledge of production shop practices and policies, including layout, tools, organization, security and safety. Experience in administrative supervisory functions, such as making plans, assigning work, setting objectives, and policy and procedure development.
