Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includes: 1) Developing Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW); 2) Creating Market Research Reports or coordinating input for Independent Government Estimates; and 3) Evaluating criteria for various complex procurement actions to develop contract strategies. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Acquisition Strategy Communications Contracting/Procurement Planning and Evaluating
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as an Acquisition Analyst with responsibilities of developing performance work statements and other contract requirements package documentation for various types of complex contracts and other procurement actions.
