This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability To Lead Or Supervise Ability to instruct on proper work procedures and methods, use of tools, and safety pertaining to shop trade skills. Directing crews to set up for various evolutions such as ship arrivals, docking, undocking, and berthing requirements. Interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, technical instructions, and work orders to complete assigned tasks. Ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions on work sequence, procedures, and time schedules are met. Making sure all materials, tools, software, and equipment are available to the crew to accomplish assignments.
