ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NAVAL ARCHITECTURE)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying advanced theories, concepts, and principles practiced in naval architecture/structural engineering to collaborate on development efforts, resolving complex issues, and performing maintenance requirements for all structural systems for the branch, which includes inspection/repair/opening/closing of tanks, Special Hull Treatment (SHT), Mold In Place (MIP), preservation, sound damping, deck covering and Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) inspections.
