LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to develop, plan and manage weapons systems throughout all phases of acquisition, operational support, and subsequent modifications. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Completing logisistics support tasks such as provisioning, allowancing, configuration management, requirements determination, repairable management, post production support, budgetary planning and execution, overall program management, logistics data maintenance, maintenace planning, procurement execution, packaging, handling, and storage and transportation; 2) Developing and maintaining milestones and performance statistics; 3) Monitoring and controlling progress to ensure accurate deliverables of supply support ILS element products; 4) Monitoring contractor efforts by visiting contractors and support sites to assign priorities and gauging work performance for efficiency; 5) Providing ILS advise and expertise to ILS management teams, acquisition managers, and other stakeholders.
