QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Applicants will be assessed against Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs). Failure to provide a separate narrative statement which describes fully and concisely how your experience meets the Mandatory Technical Qualifications will eliminate you from consideration. MANDATORY TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Each must be addressed separately in your Supplemental Narrative Statement. Each MTQ must not exceed 2 pages.) 1. An extensive technical background and personal experience in leading, directing, operating and managing information technology (IT) and CIO-related functions, activities, systems and programs in the Federal government, a state or local government, or a large corporation. 2. Expert knowledge of information technology (IT) trends and capabilities. Must have demonstrated experience utilizing this expertise within the Federal government, a state or local government, or a large corporation. 3. Demonstrated ability to integrate and synchronize the development and implementation of complex CIO-related policies and programs throughout a large organization, ensuring compliance at all levels. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will serve as the Chief Services and Infrastructure Officer in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for the Department of the Navy (DON).
