MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: GS-10: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-9 grade level. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements. EXAMPLE OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-10: Supervise and/or oversee other staff members in x-ray by review of assignments, evaluate performance, counsel on work, performance or conduct issues, interview potential hires; ensure accreditation requirements are maintained with the x-ray program in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines; receive and complete requests from medical provider for examinations, i.e., computerized axial tomographic scanning of heads and/or bodies, non-complex and complex x-rays and images, consult with medical providers on requests received, provide expert reading of requests received; assure radiology equipment is properly maintained and repaired, calibrations of equipment are properly completed. Condition of Employment: This position requires a Federal Acquisition Certification Contracting Officer’s Representative (FAC-COR) Level 1 within 120 days of hire. Delegation of COR duties will be limited to contracts for goods or services with an aggregate value of $250, 000 or less. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
This position will support the Federal Governments response efforts to COVID-19. This position is located in the Medical Imaging Department at the White Earth Health Center and the Naytahwaush Cinic. Responsible for the administrative and technical direction of the Medical Imaging Services. Identifies problems in the day-to-day organization or administrative problems, recommends changes and/or resolves the problems. This position reports to the Clinical Services Administrator.
