Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with coordination of real property activities with Federal, state, local agencies/governments; Experience with the development and implementation of quality assurance techniques for real property actions to ensure compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, delegations and regulations; Overseeing timelines and scheduled real property actions; Detailed knowledge of principles and procedures for conducting real estate transaction in accordance with AR-405-80, Management of Title and Granting Use of Real Property and AR 405-90, Disposal. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Attention to Detail Customer Service Real Estate Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
About the Position: Serves as Deputy Chief of Real Estate Division, is fully responsible for planning, organizing, developing and coordinating all military and civil real estate programs for a staff of 40-60 at approximately 7 field offices and a District office. Administers the functions of Acquisition Branch, Management and Disposal Branch, and Technical Services Branch, with a staff that includes Realty Officers, Realty Specialists, Appraisers, Foresters, budget and administrative employees.
