You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience: – Developing, defining, managing, and documenting IT security projects; AND – Applying Federal information systems security protocols to integrate information systems security with other security disciplines; AND – Performing or managing Federal information systems security assessment and authorization. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO – Information Systems and Chief Information Officer. As an Information Technology Specialist (Infosec), you will serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in the information assurance program of the wide area network, unified communications and cloud infrastructure.
