GS-14: 1 year of Specialized Experience at the GS-13 level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Serving as an advisor on all real property matters; providing staff direction on all transactions related to real property management; providing direction and coordination to Real Estate Services; managing a broad, complex, constantly changing realty operation; serving as a realty consultant and technical advisor providing guidance on the most complicated realty program issues, or a realty expert responsible for developing relationships and partnering with organizations involved in realty work that is critical to goals and mission of an organization. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date. Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (title 25, USC Section 472). Additional selections may be made from this announcement if identical vacancies occur in the same location within 90 days from the closing date.
This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Region in Phoenix, Arizona. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the most economically feasible administrative practices and procedures for the execution of trust real estate services.
