You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-15 level is one year of experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent in public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Performing financial management functions and tasks, such as managing budgets and procurement processes, and providing advice to management on related issues; AND Performing human capital management functions, such as developing long-range work plans, managing organizational changes, authorizing personnel actions, appraising work performance, resolving grievances, complaints, and disciplinary measures; AND Interpreting, developing and implementing administrative policies, defining administrative requirements, and providing advice to senior management on procedural or regulatory administrative matters. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
This position is location negotiable upon selection at a CEC duty location. This position is located at Office of the Chief Information Officer Business Services Division. This is not a remote position. You will be required to be in your duty station office per CEC telework policy. Current USDA/CEC employees with an approved remote agreement may be eligible for continued remote status, but this eligibility is at the discretion of the hiring manager.
