CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional contract specialist soliciting, evaluating, negotiating, awarding, or administering contracts for the acquisition or procurement of equipment, supplies, or services. Examples of qualifying experience may include: evaluating a contractor’s capabilities; recommending an acquisition strategy; conducting contract negotiations; analyzing contract charges or costs to determine appropriateness or reasonableness; facilitating contract changes encountered throughout the phases of the contracting process using established contracting procedures. You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of PSNS and IMF.
