You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. BASIC EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Successful completion of a bachelor’s or higher degree in operations research or successful completion of a bachelor’s or higher degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 hours must be in calculus. NOTE: Transcripts are required at the time of application. In addition to meeting the basic education requirement above, you must also meet the specialized experience requirements below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience in applying analytical techniques to identify/evaluate trends, relationships, and deficiencies to manage training; and also applying/adapting standard approaches to gather, analyze and evaluate data/information concerning complex processes, operations and/or questions.
