LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade – Maj (O-4) Officer – AFSC 21RX GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; and using computer and automation systems. GS-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least one year of experience, education or training equivalent to the GS 11 grade level that provided the ability to plan, schedule, control and direct the use of logistics resources to meet mission requirements; experience identifying activities that are involved in logistical support operations; experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan; experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan and identify delays or problems; and experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, or comply with regulations, laws, or practices.
This a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position. This National Guard position is a Permanent GS-0346-12 LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1404000 and is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing. This is a non-bargaining position.
