Required qualifications: Applicants must possess a J.D. degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), have at least one-year post-JD legal or other relevant experience, and possess superior oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills, exhibit good judgment and function with minimal guidance in a highly demanding environment. Please submit a cover letter explaining your interest in working in civil rights and which of the four District offices you wish to work in. Preferred qualifications: Experience enforcing civil rights statutes, especially the ADA; a strong desire to work on civil rights enforcement cases; federal litigation experience; and/or a federal judicial clerkship is desired. United States citizenship is required. You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement. As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement.
