Warehouse Associate

Employment type: Full-time or part-time

Pay: $17 - $20.70/hour

Role overview

You’ll support retail warehouse operations by compiling orders, replenishing merchandise, moving products, helping customers, checking inventory, and operating a forklift after required certification.

Warehouse and store duties

• Compile customer orders accurately.
• Restock products on the sales floor.
• Organize merchandise to make shopping easier for customers.
• Load customers with the correct products.
• Check inventory and orders.
• Help customers find products and answer questions.
• Operate a forklift after completing required certification.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Follow safety processes and procedures.
• Work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll need

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and team-oriented work style.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment preferred, but not required.
• Completion of required forklift certification.

Physical and work environment

• Occasional exposure to warehouse conditions and moving vehicles.
• Ability to occasionally exert 30 to 60 pounds of force.
• Ability to frequently exert 20 to 30 pounds of force.
• Ability to constantly move objects up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Regular use of hands and fingers to handle or feel.
• Quiet to moderate noise level.
