Warehouse Associate

Warehouse position overview

You’ll support daily distribution center operations by picking, packing, staging, receiving, shipping, completing light assembly, and helping maintain accurate inventory records.

Order and inventory work

• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders using scanners, pick tickets, and pallet jacks.
• Check item numbers, quantities, and bin locations for accuracy.
• Assist with receiving by unloading pallets, verifying counts, labeling products, and putting inventory away.
• Count, label, and update inventory quantities using Excel and SAP-based lists.
• Assist with routine cycle counts.
• Support shipping by building pallets, wrapping, labeling, and preparing paperwork for parcel and LTL carriers.

Assembly and shop support

• Perform light assembly of levelers, belts, chains, and bearings.
• Follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety rules around reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and other powered equipment.

Skills and experience

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Picking, packing, and basic inventory experience preferred.
• Comfort working with bin and location systems.
• Willingness to learn SAP Business One-based inventory tools.
• Ability to read pick tickets and follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to use barcode scanners.
• Strong accuracy under time pressure.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to work safely around powered industrial equipment.
