Delivery Driver

Pay: $20 - $25/hour

Role overview

You’ll support restaurant to-go and delivery operations by answering phones, taking customer orders, preparing to-go orders, and delivering food orders in the local area, including catering deliveries.

What you’ll do

• Answer phones and assist customers with orders.
• Take orders based on customer requests.
• Prepare to-go orders accurately.
• Deliver orders in the immediate area.
• Handle large catering deliveries to businesses in the Houston area.
• Provide strong customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Follow instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Work well with restaurant staff during busy service periods.

Requirements

• Food handlers certification required.
• Driver's license required.
• Proof of insurance required.
• Must provide your own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Catering delivery and banquet setup experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work with others and complete quality work while unsupervised.

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to perform active restaurant and delivery work during the shift.
