Material Handler

Pay: $19 - $22/hour

Role overview

You’ll support material handling operations by receiving, counting, checking, stocking, distributing, packaging, labeling, and moving materials for internal and external use.

What you’ll do

• Receive, count, check, and deliver incoming materials.
• Verify, stock, and distribute materials to the correct departments.
• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to pick and pack materials.
• Package, label, and select carriers for outgoing materials.
• Move, store, and space materials as needed.
• Perform daily cycle counting activities.
• Complete and distribute paperwork to related departments.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Use a forklift, pallet jack, hand tools, or power truck as required.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of material handling experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Good organization skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand tools as required.
• Team-oriented work style.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Interest in continuous improvement and learning.
