Warehouse Associate

Employment type: Full-time

Pay: $18 - $19/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What this job involves

You’ll support daily warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks, preparing furniture for delivery, maintaining inventory accuracy, cleaning and repairing furniture, and keeping the warehouse organized and safe.

Warehouse responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes.
• Handle furniture carefully to prevent scratches and damage.
• Pull and stage furniture for the next day's deliveries.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture so it is ready for rental.
• Maintain and clean warehouse areas.
• Break down cardboard and dispose of trash.
• Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Relocate products within the warehouse as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and daily warm-ups.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist drivers with deliveries when needed.
• Support special projects and other assigned tasks.
• Cross-train across different warehouse functions based on daily business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.
• On-the-job forklift certification is available.
• Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening that does not include THC.

Physical requirements

• Ability to move furniture regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with a partner.
