Warehouse Associate

Pay: ~ $17.00/hour

Position summary

You’ll support warehouse and materials operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, tracking, packaging, and delivering materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production needs.

Materials and inventory duties

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for quantity, condition, and required documentation.
  • Resolve receiving issues and discrepancies according to established procedures.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through daily spot checks and cycle counts.
  • Prepare cycle count sheets and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Respond to material requests from production teams.
  • Label and identify materials for accurate storage, retrieval, and traceability.
  • Enter receiving and issuing transactions into the ERP system.
  • Support quality traceability requirements.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment.
  • Pick up and deliver materials between locations as needed.
  • Contribute to materials management records and reporting.

Warehouse support

  • Support the Lead or Supervisor with organizing daily team activities when needed.
  • Serve as backup for the Lead or Supervisor when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support daily warehouse housekeeping.
  • Operate a forklift as required.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
  • Follow GHS and SDS requirements when handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance and work full assigned shifts.

Experience and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics and apply it to problem solving.
  • Forklift operating ability required.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with basic quality terminology and concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours when required.
  • Some programs require qualification as a US Person for legal compliance purposes.
  • Pre-employment and ongoing drug or alcohol testing may apply to this safety-sensitive position.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to climb and work on step stools or ladders.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to reach overhead.
  • Ability to work in a non-dust-free environment.
  • Normal or corrected vision for detailed work.
  • Full range of motion in both hands.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, stand, and work in confined areas.
