About the Role
This role is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day performance, integrity, and scalability of Salesforce while supporting business-critical workflows across go-to-market teams. The position combines Salesforce administration, automation, reporting, integrations, and light development responsibilities to ensure a reliable and efficient system that supports organizational growth.
Reporting to the VP of Go-To-Market Operations, this role will own key Salesforce processes, improve automation, maintain data quality, support cross-functional teams, and help shape the long-term evolution of the platform.
Status: Full Time
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
What You’ll Do
Salesforce Administration and System Management
- Manage users, roles, profiles, and permissions across the Salesforce environment.
- Maintain core Salesforce objects including Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.
- Ensure data quality, system integrity, consistency, and overall platform hygiene.
- Monitor and maintain the reliability and performance of Salesforce operations.
Automation and Process Optimization
- Build, maintain, and enhance Salesforce Flows.
- Create and manage validation rules and approval processes.
- Improve existing automation to reduce manual work and increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure automation frameworks remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs.
Configuration and Development Support
- Create and maintain custom objects, custom fields, and page layouts.
- Support light Salesforce development activities using Apex and SOQL when needed.
- Participate in testing, deployment activities, and release management processes.
Integrations and Data Management
- Support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems.
- Monitor data synchronization processes and resolve integration issues.
- Manage data imports, updates, migrations, cleanup initiatives, and ongoing maintenance activities.
Reporting and Business Insights
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that support business decision-making.
- Ensure underlying Salesforce data supports accurate and reliable reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and meaningful analytics.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of Salesforce experience in an Administrator or Administrator/Developer role.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flows.
- Experience creating and managing validation rules.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce formulas.
- Experience with user administration and data management.
- Familiarity with Apex development.
- Working knowledge of SOQL.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and system integrations.
- Experience using data management tools such as Data Loader or Sweep.io.
- Experience supporting Sales teams or other business-facing functions.
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Commitment to building practical, maintainable, and long-term solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Two or more Salesforce certifications preferred.
- One Salesforce certification with 5–7 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience working with integrated business systems such as marketing automation platforms or customer support tools.
- Exposure to release management processes.
- Experience working with Salesforce sandbox environments.
