Delivery Driver

Pay: From $21.75/hour

Schedule: 10-hour shifts; full-time 4 days per week, part-time 3 days per week; weekend availability required when scheduled

Role overview

You’ll deliver packages safely and on time as part of an Amazon delivery service partner team, while providing excellent customer service and operating company delivery vehicles.

What you’ll do

• Deliver packages to customers safely and on schedule.
• Load delivery vans accurately and safely.
• Deliver 180 to 250 packages per day with an average of more than 140 stops.
• Operate Rivian electric delivery vehicles, Ford Transit pickups, step vans, cargo vans, or other delivery vehicles.
• Manage time effectively throughout the delivery route.
• Work safely in changing weather and road conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Follow company safety, delivery, and driving standards.

What you’ll need

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license required.
• No CDL required.
• No delivery experience required; training is provided.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass motor vehicle record verification.
• Ability to pass a five-panel drug test.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends when scheduled.
• Ability to commute to Houston, TX 77064.

Physical requirements

• Ability to perform challenging physical delivery work throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds.
• Ability to load, unload, and move packages safely.
• Ability to operate a large cargo van.
