Warehouse Associate

Pay: $17 - $18/hour

Role overview

You’ll support daily warehouse operations in an event rental environment by pulling and staging orders, handling inventory, loading and unloading trucks, inspecting rental items, and keeping warehouse areas organized and safe.

What you’ll do

• Pull, pick, stage, and verify rental orders based on work orders and schedules.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Handle rental items properly to support secure transport and prevent damage.
• Assist with inventory control, including counting, restocking, labeling, and reporting discrepancies.
• Inspect rental items for quality and cleanliness before staging or returning them to inventory.
• Clean, organize, and maintain warehouse areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts according to safety guidelines.
• Cross-train and support the Linen and Dish Departments as needed.
• Sort, count, and prepare items for distribution.
• Follow proper material handling techniques and company safety standards.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

What you’ll need

• Basic understanding of warehouse operations preferred.
• Previous warehouse or event rental industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical and work environment

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
