Position Overview
This remote opportunity is focused on the daily execution, publishing, maintenance, governance, and optimization of a website and its broader digital content ecosystem. The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist will coordinate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Legal, development teams, agencies, contractors, and other external partners to deliver accurate and timely website updates.
The position covers website publishing, content maintenance, on-page SEO, quality assurance, analytics validation, conversion optimization, content governance, and digital workflow improvement. Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, organization, and the ability to manage multiple requests are essential.
This role operates in an AI-first environment where AI-enabled technologies are used to accelerate execution, improve operational efficiency, automate repeatable processes, and create scalable working patterns.
What You’ll Do
Website Publishing and Content Operations
- Manage the end-to-end publication of website content, including marketing campaigns, landing pages, product pages, resource materials, and legal or compliance updates.
- Create, update, maintain, and publish website content through WordPress and related digital platforms.
- Complete scheduled and ad hoc website updates while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established publishing standards.
- Receive, organize, prioritize, and manage publishing requests across multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, developers, designers, agencies, contractors, and external partners to support timely content delivery.
- Perform quality assurance reviews before and after publication to confirm that website content and functionality meet expectations.
Content Maintenance and Website Governance
- Maintain website content quality through recurring audits, page refreshes, content removals, archival work, and unpublishing activities.
- Implement and validate redirects while supporting URL management and maintaining effective internal linking structures.
- Identify and resolve broken links, outdated information, inconsistent content, publishing errors, and user experience concerns.
- Maintain website governance documentation, publishing standards, operational procedures, and content management guidelines.
- Ensure website updates follow established SEO, accessibility, content quality, and user experience best practices.
- Support consistent content organization and governance across the digital content ecosystem.
SEO, Analytics, and Website Optimization
- Implement on-page SEO updates, including metadata improvements, page structure enhancements, keyword alignment, redirects, and internal linking.
- Support SEO, generative engine optimization, and AI-driven content discoverability initiatives established by digital marketing leadership.
- Assist with website testing, conversion optimization, analytics validation, and other digital performance initiatives.
- Support the implementation, testing, and validation of analytics tracking, tags, forms, and measurement requirements.
- Monitor website performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve discoverability, engagement, conversion performance, and user experience.
- Use analytics and digital marketing tools to evaluate website quality and support data-informed improvements.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Operational Excellence
- Partner with Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Legal, agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate website updates and digital initiatives.
- Track requests, deadlines, deliverables, priorities, risks, and dependencies through project management and ticketing systems.
- Provide stakeholders with clear updates regarding project status, potential risks, expected completion dates, and completed work.
- Create and maintain process documentation, publishing instructions, operational playbooks, and website management guidelines.
- Use automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and improve execution quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen website operations, content management practices, and overall digital marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, web content management, marketing operations, content operations, or a related area.
- Hands-on experience using WordPress or a comparable content management system.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, website structure, and digital content publishing workflows.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, or similar analytics and measurement platforms.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, on-page optimization practices, website accessibility, and content governance principles.
- Experience supporting website updates, digital content publishing, quality assurance testing, or digital marketing operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, requests, projects, and stakeholders at the same time.
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to learn, adopt, and apply new technologies, digital tools, and marketing concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing redirects, metadata changes, content audits, website maintenance, and optimization initiatives.
- Familiarity with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or comparable tools.
- Experience using project management systems such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Figma or another collaborative design tool.
- Experience supporting SaaS, technology, e-commerce, or digital marketing organizations.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools for content publishing, research, workflow automation, operational efficiency, or digital marketing execution.
