Warehouse Associate

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse and order fulfillment operations by pulling, cutting, processing, documenting, and preparing wire and cable materials while operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

What you’ll do

• Pull, cut, stripe, dye, or twist materials according to order needs.
• Follow standard operating procedures for warehouse and production tasks.
• Scrap material and break down unusable reels.
• Complete rundowns after orders.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Support a safety-focused work environment.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts to help resolve issues.
• Operate warehouse machinery and tools, including forklifts, re-spoolers, dye and stripe machines, pallet jacks, cutters, and power tools.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

What you’ll need

• 3+ years of experience in order fulfillment, machine operation, or related work preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented work style and ability to take initiative.
• Ability to read and understand documentation, wire descriptions, and numbers.
• Ability to add and subtract numbers in the thousands.
• Comfort with basic computer operations, or willingness to learn.
• Comfort operating large machines and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, and maneuver heavy materials or equipment up to 100 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to repeatedly step up and down from material handling equipment throughout the shift.
