Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 per year
About the Role
This opportunity is for a DevOps Engineer responsible for maintaining secure, highly available, and scalable web infrastructure. The role partners with operations, security, and application teams to improve infrastructure reliability, deployment automation, security, and operational efficiency while supporting proprietary in-house infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with validation, security scanning, and approval gates.
- Implement web infrastructure architectures that support high availability, failover, and multi-region deployments.
- Support platform standardization and governance to ensure auditability and repeatable deployments.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure resources for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including vulnerability remediation and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
- Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards to ensure consistent execution.
- Participate in release activities and help ensure safe, controlled software deployments.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting across infrastructure and application deployment layers.
- Work within Agile delivery environments while effectively managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of multi-region infrastructure and disaster recovery architectures.
- Proven experience supporting MySQL environments with a focus on high availability and performance tuning.
- Proven experience working within PHP development environments.
- Experience with version control management, code maintenance, and source code control.
- Understanding that this role supports proprietary in-house infrastructure rather than public cloud management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
