Annual Salary: $79,555 - $88,000 per year
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Human Resource Service Partner uses extensive HR knowledge and experience to help develop and implement human resources practices, procedures, and solutions for clients within assigned regions. This role works closely with the HR Partner Team and sales team to support new client onboarding, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to transformational HR strategies and solutions for supported clients.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the HR Partner Team to support the execution of human resources plans and practices.
- Interact directly with clients regarding employee relations, compensation administration, benefits, talent acquisition, and organizational talent development.
- Provide input and support in preparing employee policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development of department goals, objectives, processes, and systems.
- Maintain and expand knowledge of progressive HR practices and key industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR services and processes and assist with developing and implementing improvements.
- Support the HR Partner Team with specific projects identified in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of legal requirements and federal and state regulations affecting human resources functions.
- Help ensure HR policies, procedures, practices, and reporting remain compliant with applicable requirements.
- Partner with key stakeholders on HR-related processes and provide ongoing updates and reports.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, leave-of-absence situations, employee separations, and HR risk-related issues.
- Conduct employee investigations, including interviews, information and data gathering, analysis of findings, and delivery of results in coordination with senior HR team members.
- Provide ad hoc training to client management teams in areas including compliance, employee engagement and development, and leadership.
- Create reports using HR metrics and analyze human capital data to identify trends.
- Provide guidance related to benefit plan design and employee enrichment programs.
- Participate in department staff meetings and attend other relevant meetings and seminars.
- Ensure employee matters are handled consistently, fairly, and without discrimination.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, along with at least five years of human resources experience; or a minimum of seven years of human resources experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Knowledge of the organization’s working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of human resources administration principles, practices, and procedures related to employment, compensation, classification, and employee development.
- Broad knowledge of functions across the human resources discipline.
- Knowledge of legal requirements and federal and state regulations related to employment.
- Knowledge of facilitation and presentation methods and techniques.
- Understanding of statistical methods, concepts, and analytical tools used in human resources processes.
- Knowledge of interviewing and candidate evaluation processes.
- Ability to deliver clear and effective presentations.
- Ability to analyze a wide range of HR data and draw meaningful conclusions from the results.
- Ability to interpret and apply federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations to moderately complex human resources issues and situations.
- Ability to provide appropriate recommendations for resolving simple to moderately complex employment and employee relations matters.
- Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments while priorities and deadlines frequently change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal communication styles and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to keep appropriate stakeholders informed of decisions, changes, and other relevant information.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Proficiency with client relationship management tools, virtual meeting platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use video conferencing tools for daily communication with staff and clients.
