Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for Prevention Program Specialist (SAR WF). A. Degree: Bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with developing policies and/or processes for Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault; utilizing a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness of Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) programs; and assist with overseeing activities in the applied prevention science/interactive public health system’s framework. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Prevention Program Specialist (SAR WF), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9, SHARP Division located in Arlington, Virginia. A relocation incentive may be authorized IAW agency policy.
