Applicants must also have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Leading or supervising artisans to establish priorities and deadlines of scheduled assignments as well as determine task sequencing; 2) Estimating material, equipment, and manpower needs to balance changing workload and personnel requirements; 3) Demonstrating an understanding of aircraft platforms/components and of all aircraft trades; and 4) Working to resolve or prevent problems by determining the cause, finding a solution, and taking corrective action. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
