TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-I (FG/GS 13) LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application you possess one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-H (FG/GS 12) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience includes using analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess programs; identifying problem areas and providing recommendations for improvement; developing schedules, coordinating, and managing projects and resources; using medical terminology and medical clinical information databases in the performance of work assignments; leading groups; reading, interpreting, preparing reports, summarizing medical information and documents; training others in related duties. The Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) develops and manages medical programs in support of Aviation Safety. The Regional Augmentation Team (RAT) supports the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) regional program efforts and other AAM efforts in the performance of AAM employee’s primary duties, including preparation for and response to public health events affecting the aviation industry. This position is the Lead Regional Program Analyst (RPA) for the Regional Augmentation Team (RAT).
