MECHANICAL ENGINEER

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in applying advance theories, concepts, principles practiced in order to provide consultative services for facilities design and construction; 2) Using mechanical engineering principles to produce mechanical engineering designs ; 3) Using mechanical engineering principles to produce comments on design calculations, drawing, specifications; and 4) Assisting in developing or maintaining large-scale multi-disciplinary projects to assure compliance with applicable standards and/or requirements.
