You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility at the GS-11 level in the Federal service, or equivalent, which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes experience performing administrative management work that involves aiding the manager and subordinate operating officials in dealing with management analysis, budget, finance, personnel management, and knowledge management activities in order to serve the mission and operation of the organization. Examples of such experience could include: Researching and developing new methods and procedures for knowledge management; OR Analyzing financial data and recommending a course of action; OR Communicating with divisions inside and outside the organization; AND Providing support for administrative functions such as budget, finance, and IT management for Business Support Services. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Business Support Services, Resource Management Staff. The incumbent is a collaborative member of the Business Support Services central office team who serves as an analyst and advisor and reports directly to Business Support Services Chief of Staff.
