To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: GS-09: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B or J.D., if related. GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. NOTE: Graduate education must provide the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Experience: GS-09 and GS-11: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progress for the occupation in the organization. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: GS-09: Experience with interpreting and ensuring compliance with federal laws, Office of Personnel Management regulations, policies as they relate to human resource issues. Experience in providing technical assistance to others to properly operate and/or use automated human resource systems accordingly to reference manuals, policies and instructions. Experience with determining applicants’ eligibility for a variety of federally classified positions and/or special hiring authorities as it relates to an agency’s merit promotion plan. Experience in utilizing an automated staffing application system. GS-11: Experience that demonstrates knowledge of placement and staffing principles and methods utilized within the federal government. Experience in processing requests to fill vacancies to include announcing positions, rating applications, preparing certificates and finalizing vacancy boards for closure and/or audit. Experience utilizing an automated staffing application system to process organizational vacancy requests. OR Combination of Education and Experience: GS-09 and GS-11: Have a combination of education and experience. This experience must have equipped you with the qualifications to perform the major duties of this position as described above. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities. **Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.**
