Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience which demonstrates 1) developing and maintaining documents, reports, minutes and correspondence using advanced office automation software (e.g. word, excel, PowerPoint, publisher); 2) Reviewing and assessing data to make charts and graphs and identify potential areas of improvement 3) leading projects by identifying collaborators, developing plan, guiding implementation and sustainment for improvement efforts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05. There is no position in the normal line of progression in the organization. Therefore, To Qualify in-service applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the second lower grade/level (GS-05). OUTSIDE APPLICANTS (those without current or prior Federal service), must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to a least the next lower (GS-06) grade/level. TYPING PROFIENCY REQUIREMENT: Typing at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer Literacy Decision Making Manages and Organizes Information Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Risk Management (RM)/Credentials coordinator(s) in administrating RM and Credentials Program at Evans Army Community Hospital located in Fort Carson, CO.
