To qualify for the GS-06: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal service which includes maintaining office files, assisting visitors and personnel, utilizing automation applications, processing travel orders and vouchers, drafting memorandums and correspondence for review, and generating a variety of personnel actions for all branch personnel. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). To qualify for the GS-07: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service which includes collecting budgetary information used for budget planning and tracking, purchasing office supplies, equipment, and services, processing travel orders and vouchers, review and finalize memorandums and correspondence, and generating a variety of personnel actions for all branch personnel. OR Education: Successfully completed one full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields.
