To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-06 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA’s) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes: Administrative and clerical work of an office, Utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, database, and software to manage information; Manages supplies and equipment by interfacing with supply, Maintaining time and attendance records, Performing data collection and preparing reports; and Receiving calls and visitors and directing them appropriately. The Dayton, Ohio Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting for a well-qualified Program Support Assistant. The primary purpose of Program Support Assistant is to provide a wide variety of administrative, timekeeping, clerical, and technical support to Nutrition and Food Service.
