Facility Services Assistant

Only experience and education obtained by 10/18/2024 will be considered. In order to qualify for this position you must possess Minimum Qualification. Minimum Qualification [GS-6]: Must at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Completing forms and correspondence to support a variety of requests (e.g., repair requests, facility use requests); 2) Maintaining records on facility equipment, fleet vehicles and supplies; and 3) Assisting with submitting repair requests into an automated tracking system. Minimum Qualification [GS-7]: Must possess at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitoring facility operations, maintenance, and fleet vehicles according to established procedures; 2) Maintaining records to prepare reports or provide requested information; and 3) Entering maintenance and repair requests for facilities into an automated tracking system. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time In Grade Requirement: Applicants must meet both eligibility and qualification requirements for the position of interest by the closing date of the JOA. Specifically, i.
