Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position performs motor vehicle operator duties, and a valid driver’s license is required by entry-on-duty, and you must be able to maintain that license as a condition of employment. (Screen-out) – AND – To qualify for this position at the GS-07 grade level, you must possess the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS- grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: (1) maintaining asset management databases; (2) preparing reports; (3) updating work order cost estimates; (4)analyzing report data to ensure accuracy; (5) coordinating and conducting assessment surveys, asset inventories, and/or condition assessments; (6) and/or providing administrative support pertaining to the collection of data (i.e. equipment and feature inventories and specification templates); (7) warehouse management along with key and core creation, distribution, and record management. You must include hours per week worked. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is located in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, in the Business and Technology Division.
