To qualify for this position all applicants must meet the following: At least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal Service that has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of this Program Analyst. Specialized experience includes analytical work in assisting with projects and/or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of a clinical services; participating with planning and developing studies or projects; evaluating and making recommendations on operating programs; developing reports, presentations, and proposals; making recommendations regarding resource allocations and budget; providing project management advice to staff concerning various phases of on-going or special projects. NOTE: Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must clearly indicate the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. You will be rated on the following Competencies as part of the assessment questionnaire for this position: Manages and Organizes Information Planning and Evaluating Project Management IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. This position is located at the VA Maine Healthcare System in Togus, Maine, responsible for leading the development, modification, planning and implementation of projects to address the development and integration of clinical services (including inpatient services) within the healthcare system.
