If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is managing, coordinating, and implementing programs and executing policies, regulations, and procedures related to the operations of a commercial office building in one or more of the following building programs: energy and sustainability, environmental, safety, fire protection, and/or building operations.
As a Program Management Officer, you will serve as the Branch Chief for Energy, Environmental, and Safety Programs within the Facilities Management Division. Responsibilities of the position encompass the sustainability, energy, environmental, safety and health, and fire/life safety programs. Location of position: GSA, PBS, Northwest/Arctic Region, Facilities Management Division We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
