TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application you possess one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) LEVEL. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes applying medical knowledge and terminology in program management; using medical clinical information databases; reading, interpreting, and summarizing medical information and documents; participating in site visits; identifying problem areas and providing recommendations for improvement; and experience training coworkers on medical related program duties. OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related, from an accredited college or university. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. The Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) develops and manages medical programs in support of Aviation Safety. This position is a part of the Regional Augmentation Team (RAT). The Team supports the Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) regional program efforts and other AAM efforts in the performance of AAM employee’s primary duties, including preparation for and response to public health events affecting the aviation industry.
