In addition to the Basic Education requirements below, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/10 grade level or pay band NP-02 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Ability to evaluate and incorporate the latest developments in the Environmental Engineering/Science/Chemistry field within technical guidelines, 2) Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of Environmental Engineering/Science/Chemistry and knowledge of related engineering and science fields, 3) Knowledge of local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations, 4) Ability to plan, organize, direct and monitor the work of contractors, 5) Knowledge of hazardous waste, environmental management and the remedial process, and 6) Excellent skill in preparation of written communication and ability to communicate orally.
