FUNCTIONAL SYSTEMS ANALYST (HR)

To qualify for the Functional Systems Analyst, GS-0301-13, position: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of this position and has equipped you with the knowledge and competencies to successfully perform the duties of this position. More specifically, experience includes HR system integration, performance, and regression testing; coordinating and conducting formal HR system detailed analysis functional walk throughs; system testing in multiple environments and applications within a release cycle; writing HR system requirement specifications and analysis based upon regulatory and customer requests; developing system documentation to include use cases, test cases, diagrams, business process descriptions, HR systems analysis, functional requirement specifications, and user guides. This position is part of the Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of the Secretary, Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate (HRD), Human Resources Management Systems Division (HRMSD), in Lakewood, Colorado. The incumbent serves as a Functional Systems Analyst in the HRMSD, leading a team of analysts and help desk personnel in support of IBCs business initiative.
