INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (ENTARCH)

Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Developing information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures. Maintaining application security by managing user access, roles, and permissions using established guidelines. Serving as a lead IT specialist responsible for hardening managed server/cloud applications against cybersecurity threats. Utilizing technical knowledge related to server configuration, customization, and administration to maintain cybersecurity compliance for all assigned assets. You will serve as in Information Technology Specialist (ENTARCH) at the GG-13 grade level responsible for ensuring the secure and effective operation of all IT Service Management application(s), systems, and software within Hopper Global Communication Center (HGCC).
