Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Maintenance Mechanic Worker ~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common duties. I can perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment; trouble shoot and replace parts on pop-up target mechanisms, target systems, I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. – Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. PHYSICAL EFFORT The incumbent is frequently required to lift and carry moderate to heavy (over 45 pounds) boxes, tools, equipment and exert moderate physical effort is operating hand foot controls of equipment. Work also requires considerable standing, stooping, bending, walking, kneeling, climbing and working in uncomfortable and tiring positions. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed inside and outside in all types of weather (e.g., heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.) and usually in a dirty, dusty and/or greasy environment. Incumbent is exposed to the possibility of broken bones, electrical shocks, burns, cuts bruises, maimed fingers and scrapes
