ARCHAEOLOGIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act and other environmental and preservation laws to plan and manage a cultural resources program for an Installation; 2) Working on archaeological resources issues related to facilities planning, construction, and operations for an installation; 3) Interpreting and implementing existing and proposed federal programs, policies, laws, and regulations regarding cultural resources; and 4) Evaluating proposed facilities and/or projects against cultural resources compliance requirements.
